Over the past 18 months, we've been conducting anonymous research in an ongoing effort to answer this open-ended question:

Encourage good sportsmanship and have a sportsmanship award at each tournament along with the tournament for winning. In the long run, who you are at the end of the day is as important as whether you won the tournament or got a few more points.
